This family home by the water in Emsworth has undergone an extensive renovation project by its new owners. As part of this renovation a grand double height extension was added to the kitchen and living room area and provided an impressive canvas for a kitchen that makes full use of this striking feature.
The exposed brickwork of the extension was considered in the choice of the concrete effect doors and this was then contrasted with oxidised amber furniture in the well equipped cooking island. The island has a built in banquette that is accommodated in a natural curve to the front of the island. The owner has subsequently incorporated a colour accent that evokes the sea and brings the variety of textures together.
This kitchen is well equipped for the two enthusiast cooks that own it. With three ovens, a wine cooler and large american style fridge freezer, they are well set for entertaining.
