This extended home created a perfect space for a well thought out kitchen and living area. In designing the kitchen we made sure to make the most of the light flooding through the glazed extension and used a large peninsular to focus the cooking and preparation areas out towards the view. The result is an impressively spacious yet cosy space that works just as well for entertaining as for a quiet family dinner.
Handleless doors, under cabinet lighting, a sleek Caple Wine cooler and a showpiece Fisher and Paykel American Fridge Freezer bring contemporary touches to the room. Extensive storage and creative use of free space allow for a completely clear worktop- which worked perfectly with the owners preference for sleek lines. A Miele Pyrolytic Oven with Combination Microwave oven provides the perfect amount of cooking space. We love combination ovens for their space saving dual function- oven space when you need it, microwave power the rest of the time.

The use of cubby holes, pull out larders and extensive handleless units means that this kitchen has more than enough storage to hide the inevitable clutter that a kitchen can accumulate. This allows the clean lines and elegant shapes of the kitchen to really shine.
Angles and leading lines are key in this kitchens design and create an effortless flow around it.
