Bosham Harbour
Coastal Minimalism
Modern, Clean lines
This family home in the sailing village of Bosham, on Chichester Harbour, blends modern, clean lines with traditional, characterful elements. Working with the homeowners, we created a striking kitchen to complement their large open plan living/dining area.
Using a blend of high gloss white handleless units with matt dark blue units on the striking island created a contract and elegance that is then set off with timber accents to bring everything together in a tasteful and minimal kitchen that allows the owners to accessorise with their own creative choices.
For the island, we chose a quartz waterfall effect with an integrated induction hob and “cloud box” extractor, that we turned into a striking design element. A wooden breakfast bar contrasts with these modern choices well, and inbuilt hidden evoline power sockets means that the island truly does form the heart of the kitchen.
The central island is the perfect hub for cooking, eating and entertaining
A well stocked bar
hidden from view
A hidden bar area with pocket doors can be opened to reveal twin Cople wine chillers and a bar, perfect for preparing drinks for guests when entertaining. When not needed, these doors close and maintain the clean, minimalist aesthetic of the kitchen.
Our Cloud box extractor solution makes a feature of island cooking with timber accents.
